The Balboa Expander X-B (59231 / 59231-01) is designed to upgrade the equipment capacity of Balboa's BP100G3, BP200G3, and BP200UX control packs; allowing for an additional 1-speed air blower to be added to the system.

Configuration
To enable the expander board functionality, you will need to configure the Balboa spa pack settings whilst the spa pack is powered. If you are unsure about any step in the process, please refer to the Balboa spa pack user manual or contact a qualified spa technician for assistance.
- Access the spa pack's main board by removing the cover panel.
- Make note of the layout of the components and connections outlined in the wiring diagram on inside of the spa's cover.
- Locate the dip switches on the main board.
- Turn DIP Switch 1 to the ON position whilst the spa pack is powered to enable test mode
- Using the topside control panel, navigate the menu to select the required setup number
- Return DIP Switch 1 to the OFF position.
- Before replacing the cover, make note of the new configuration number on the provided space in the wiring diagram for future reference.
- Finally, replace the cover panel and secure it in place.
