Socket x Socket BSP (British Standard Pipe thread) fittings are internally threaded on one socket and are a glued type on the other.In the case of a TEE 2 opposed sockets are glued type and one is threaded.

A pressure pipe fitting that provides excellent chemical resistance to most solutions of acids, alkalis and salts and solvents that can be mixed with water. Rated to 230psi/16bar.
PVC pipe and fittings are one of the most widely used materials for pipe installations. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and common place on hot tubs, whirlpool baths, spas and swimming pools. All fittings and pipework have smooth bores which aid in good flow characteristics and resistance to abrasion. Top Tip:
We recommend using a PVC cleaner/prep fluid before gluing to ensure a good weld.
PVC fitting are compatible with standard solvent weld pipe cement or PeViCol glue.
Use PTFE (Teflon tape) to ensure a tight seal between threaded components.
