Product Description
  • For bonding PVC and ABS pipe work.
  • A thixotropic solvent cement conforming to BS 6209
  • Designed for spigot and socket bonding of non-pressure thermoplastic pipe systems such as PVC and ABS.
  • Comes with brush applicator fixed to lid.
  • Colour: Clear white
  • Shelf life: 12 months.

Note. This is not the best product for glueing flexible pipe - use PeviCol or WDF-05 if gluing flexible pipe work.

 

Bonding Instructions

Surface Preparation

Cut pipe clean & square. Remove any burrs and file a lead chamfer of approx 3mm at 15º. Roughen the mating surfaces with a medium grade emery cloth.
Clean the abraded surfaces.

Application

Solvent cement must not be stirred. Using a clean, flat brush apply an even layer of cement to both surfaces.

Bonding

Immediately push the spigot into the socket. Hold the joint for 10 seconds and wipe away all excess. Joints should not be
disturbed for 10 minutes, after which they may be handled with care. Full cure will be 24 hours
