The Balboa X-P231 CE is a specialised expansion PCB designed to safely increase the output of your Balboa GS or GL series control system. If you are looking to upgrade your hot tub by adding a secondary single-speed pump or high-powered blower, this board provides the dedicated relay and circuit protection needed to handle the load without risking damage to your spa pack.

Seamless Integration: Once installed, the system software automatically identifies the bard, typically mapping the new addition to Button 6, Jets 2/Aux on your topside control panel.

System Compatibility

This board is engineered for the CE (European) Market and is compatible with most GS and GL series control packs.

Compatible with: GS510SZ, GS510DZ, GS511SZ, GL2000, GL2001, GL8000
- This board is NOT compatible with the GS500Z system.
Hardware Mapping: When installed, your topside will usually map the new component to Button 6

Note: This expansion board is for 1-speed auxiliary components only. If you are looking to add a 2-speed pump, a different relay configuration may be required.

Please ensure you take care to select the correct PCB for your application, as all PCBs are non-refundable items - If you are unsure, please contact our friendly customer service team and we will do our best to give you the information we have available in order for you to be able to make the correct purchase (we cannot be held liable for any incorrect items purchased)

Note: All equipment must be installed by a competent individual or trades person, in accordance with the relevant electrical & building safety regulations. Installing an incompatible PCB may result in damage to it, and other system components, which is not covered by warranty.

PCB's and other sensitive electrical equipment cannot be returned if the sealed packaging has been opened, tampered with or if the item has been fitted.

If a PCB board is suspected of being faulty, it will need to be returned to us within the warranty period so it can be returned to the manufacturer for inspection & testing. If the item is deemed to be faulty, we will repair or replace it under warranty. If the board is not at fault or is found to have been damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse then the warranty will be void and an additional charge will be made to cover the costs of return shipping.
